How to Choose the Right Safety Products
Start with the product that matches your most immediate need.
If you're working toward SECOR, start with the Starter Safety Manual Package, or choose the Certification-Ready Package for hands-on help putting it in place. If you need a safety program but aren't pursuing COR, start with the Compliance Safety Manual Package.
If you're working toward COR or preparing for an audit, start with a COR Gap Review or a Mock COR Audit. Your certifying partner's audit standard sets the bar, so it helps to confirm yours early. Alberta and British Columbia each publish their lists of COR certifying partners: Alberta's certifying partners and WorkSafeBC's certifying partners.
If workers need training, begin with the online courses. If you already have a program and want help keeping it current, look at the Manual Care Plan or the ongoing support packages.

Yes. Calgary Safety Consultants offers online safety training options for workers, supervisors, managers, and employers. Online training can help organizations provide consistent safety information across different locations, shifts, and work groups.
Online training may support topics such as WHMIS, TDG, workplace violence and harassment prevention, incident investigation, supervisor responsibilities, safety leadership, and other workplace safety requirements.
Can these safety products help with COR or SECOR preparation?
Yes. Our packages can help employers prepare for COR or SECOR by supporting better documentation, hazard assessment, inspections, training records, corrective action tracking, incident reporting, and supervisor follow-through.
However, COR and SECOR preparation requires more than having documents in place. Employers also need evidence that their safety program is being implemented, communicated, reviewed, and used in day-to-day operations.
