How much does SECOR evaluation prep cost?
It starts at $999 plus GST for one small employer. Site visits and extra work are quoted separately, in writing, before any work begins.
Do you complete the evaluation for us?
No. The prep review covers your records and your evaluation before you submit. With ACSA, the person who completes the evaluation, called the assessor, must hold the required SECOR training, and your company must have a full-time employee with that training even if the assessor is external.
When should we book it?
Once you have at least three months of health and safety documentation, and before you submit. With ACSA, three months is the minimum.
We bought the Starter Safety Manual Package. Is this the next step?
Yes. About three months after your package is delivered, this review checks your records and evaluation before you submit.
Does this guarantee we’ll get SECOR?
We can’t guarantee that your company will obtain COR or SECOR. If your audit or evaluation raises any issues with the work we delivered, we’ll help you resolve them at no additional charge.

- Projects are led by John Duplessis, B.Sc., CRSP, President and Principal Health & Safety Consultant, who has more than 30 years of occupational health and safety experience. He is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional, a certified COR auditor and a member of Health and Safety Professionals Canada and the Alberta Society of Health and Safety Professionals.

- What does it cost?
- Our Starter Safety Manual Package, recommended for SECOR, is $1,995 plus GST. Other consulting is quoted per project after the first conversation, so you know the scope and cost up front. Online courses are priced per learner, starting at $24.99, with group quotes for 10 or more workers.
- Do you work with small businesses?
- Yes. Many of our clients are small and mid-sized employers without a full-time safety department, including contractors, manufacturers, non-profits and clinics.
- Can you help with COR, audits and training too?
- Yes. We conduct COR audits and help with COR and SECOR preparation, safety manuals, hazard assessments, compliance audits, emergency response plans, incident investigations and contractor prequalification in ISNetworld, Avetta and ComplyWorks. We also offer online courses including WHMIS, TDG and OH&S leadership. We can’t guarantee that you’ll obtain COR or SECOR, but we warranty our service: if your audit or evaluation raises any issues with our work, we’ll help you resolve them at no additional charge.
